I still marvel (and then get mad) that Medical Writers have to build CSR practically by hand. And no, I'm not mad at Medical writers, but at the fact that my family practitioner has more software tools to interact with their patients and Medical Writers are left with MS Word and “copy/paste.”
Now add the tension of In-Text Table creation for a CSR… Medical Writers know exactly how they want the in-text tables to look. Some biostatistics teams try to program exactly what the medical writers want, but most just end up delivering the post-text tables for the writers to copy/paste from.
